The King of Thieves
You dance lightly,
Careful as you tread.
You go unnoticed by most,
But you have caught my eye.
I can see you, right under my nose,
Rubbing your greedy hands together.
Watching, waiting.
Darting by, light as a feather.
The world's greatest thief,
Paying me a visit.
Honoring me.
My skin your earth, my veins your path.
Such natural, effortless grace,
Wasted on petty theft.
What can you take from me?
I have nothing left.
